建築家を目指す学生のための専門情報発信サイト『ケンチクカノオト』の全体ビジュアルやキャラクターデザインなどを手掛けました。このサイトでは、建築の実用的な知識だけではなく、捉え方、考え方、そして筋道の立て方など、根幹になる部分を育むことを重きに置かれた発信の仕方をしています。その根幹を育むことは、建築という枠を超えて、多種多様のデザインやアート、ビジネスにまで応用ができる。閲覧者にも幅広い層に届くようであればと思っています。
I worked on the overall visuals and character design for “Kenchiku Kano-to,”(Architecture-note) a specialized information dissemination site for students aspiring to become architects. The website is designed to provide not only practical knowledge of architecture, but also to nurture the fundamental aspects of how to perceive, think, and make sense of architecture. This nurturing of the core can be applied beyond the framework of architecture to a wide variety of design, art, and business. We hope to reach a wide range of viewers as well.

ラフを描きながらヒアリングする中で、読者目線の役割を担う男の子、タテルのデザインを何度か検討しました。『建築学科にいそうな雰囲気の男の子ってどんな感じだっただろう？』『こんな服を着ていそうな感じで・・・。』『明るそうでポジティブな感じが伝わるように。』などのやりとりがあり、最終的には左側のようなデザインになりました。sen先生（亀）のデザインに関して、未来的な建築のイメージがあるドーム構造をモチーフにしようというご要望をいただいた時にすぐにイメージが湧きました。
As I drew rough sketches and conducted interviews, we discussed several times the design of the boy, Tateru who would play the role of the reader’s eye. ‘What did the boy look like, the kind of boy who might be in the architecture department?’ ‘He would look like he would wear something like this…’ ‘I wanted the design to convey a bright and positive feeling. As for the design of Sen Sensei (the turtle), the image of a dome structure with a futuristic architectural image came to me as soon as I received the request to use it as a motif.
